Technical Questions
Can you import and/or export the HTML newsletter layout?
Yes, you can import your own HTML newsletter layout. This is best for advanced users with coding experience.
Please keep in mind that customer support for HTML is only offered in Pro and Enterprise plans.
Can you insert html into a standard rasa.io newsletter template? (Display an ad, write a custom message, etc.)
You sure can. All of our templates include the option to add your own HTML blocks as well as options for static banner and square images (often used for promotions/ads), and text blocks.
Do I need a domain email address to send emails?
You do not need your own domain to send your newsletter from rasa.io although we do highly recommend authenticating your domain to send from if you have one.
Use Cases & Users
Will this suit agency use case?
Yes! You can create multiple newsletters within one account and your total contacts across each newsletter will be rolled up and counted towards the limit in your tier.
You can seamlessly navigate between newsletters in the platform for easy manageability.

What languages do you support?
Our AI engine is compatible with English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese.
Sources (RSS feeds, Twitter accounts, etc.) in languages other than those can be added to your rasa.io sources list, but our system might or might not be able to pull in new articles that those sources produce.
When an article is brought into our platform from a source in a language that is not listed above, the AI cannot always effectively assign topical tags to the articles, which may limit our capability to personalize the articles according to individual subscriber interests. This may cause many of your articles to render as “Inactive” in the Upcoming Articles page, (where you do have the option to toggle them back on). Our inability to properly tag this content will also impact your Topics analytics.

Can I import my subscribers from my current ESP without them having to reconfirm their subscription?
Yes, you can import contacts that have opted into your email list. You will confirm their consent when you import the list into the rasa.io dashboard.
Would I use this with or instead of Hubspot?
Hubspot and rasa.io are a marketing powerhouse when paired together. The sync can be one or two way, depending. onyour preference.

How does this compare to Mailchimp?
In short; we are two very different tools. Mailchimp is great for sending automated emails, email sequences, and one-time email campaigns.
rasa.io sends a recurring email newsletter that is automatically filled with relevant content that is published by the sender’s predetermined sources. Each newsletter is custom curated for the individual.

Is there anyway to integrate this with Substack?
Unfortunately, Substack does not have a public API, so we can’t integrate with it. You can, however, export your email list from there and import it into rasa.io.
